Current fire safety legislation The “Regulatory Reform Fire Safety Order 2005” states that if you are in charge of fire safety for your premises within England and Wales you are referred to as The Responsible Person.

There are a raft of measures that you as the Responsible Person must undertake to maintain legal compliance. Included in these measures are to ensure your staff receive suitable fire safety training.

This Fire Warden course is designed with not only Fire Wardens in mind but Responsible Persons too. Throughout this course you will be instructed in all the duties relating to these roles, and how to implement them.

Our course trainer, Andy, has worked within the fire industry for 20 years including running a successful independent fire safety business delivering services and advice across a wide commercial and industrial sector.

Nowadays Andy is a freelance trainer delivering a range of fire warden and fire awareness courses to companies along with providing technician training and refresher courses directly to the industry.

The course includes:

  • Introduction

  • Understanding fire

  • Fire extinguisher theory

  • Practical demonstration - discharge only. No live fires/fire trays are used.

  • DVD - The role of the fire warden

  • Action in the event of a fire

The course duration is 2.5-3 hours.

Training Fees:

Our standard rate is £475 per course of up to 6 delegates.

If two courses are booked for the same day the fee is reduced to £750.

Individual rate (our centre only) - £115

Open Course Dates:

Dates can be added subject to demand.

There is a supplementary charge of 45p per mile which will be made for all training conducted at a distance of more than 30 miles from our centre.

All fees are subject to VAT.
